Building materials: cement and cable, straight to site
11 August 2026 · 1 min readConstruction stalls when materials do not show. Right-sized vehicles and tracked runs keep sites moving.
Anyone who has built in Nigeria knows the rhythm: the workmen are on site, the money is burning daily, and everything is waiting for a delivery that "is coming". Materials logistics is where budgets and timelines go to die.
Sites need odd loads at odd times: ten bags of cement now, a coil of cable at noon, tiles on Saturday. Owning a truck for that makes no sense: begging for one every morning makes even less.
SEIRS puts keke, vans, and trucks a booking away, priced by distance and load. The site engineer tracks the run instead of phoning around, and the receipt lands itemised for the project file. The blocks arrive: the day's work happens.
